My Short Story Before Create Abundance

First quarter of 2008, during that time my parents in the province was experiencing financial crisis and they asked me to helped them. Ofcourse as their son, without any doubt I helped them, not because I'm oblige to do it but I really want to do it. For me its hard to save because what I'm earning from my job is only enough for my monthly expenses plus monthly financial support for them. I prayed to God every night to help me find better opportunities so that I can send more support to them. I was so touched when my father texted me saying, "I'm sorry son, I know its a duty of a father to support his family, but due to some circumstances I made you support your sister's college education. Hang on, I'll find ways and someday we will get out of this."

Days past, job opportunities from bigger companies keep on coming. I really can't believe it, they are the ones looking for me. It was an answered prayer! I got the job and ofcourse my salary increased more than a hundred percent than before. One Sunday, after attending the church service, I walked around inside the National Bookstore, I saw this book,'Rich Dad Poor Dad'. Actually I have no idea about the book, nobody told me about it that time, its just that something inside my head is telling me, "Buy it!" So I bought it, then at home, I started reading it. After reading the book, as in wow, my mind was brainwashed, I'd never realized that. That is where I started to have interest in business and finance. So I bought more books, then read.

I've learned a lot from the books, so I got so excited that I really want to share it to my close friends. But instead of making them interested also, this is what I've got from them, "Ok that's good. keep it up!", "It's that so. Ok." or "Is that you? What are you talking about?" Well it can't be helped, at least they listened.

While surfing through the net about Real Estate, I found this site, sulit.com.ph. The site name sounds interesting so I joined. I really can't believed it, I made a lot of friends with different professions and learned from their experiences. One day, I decided to look for mentors if I want to engage into business. I'm looking for days, weeks, then months, but I found nothing. So I gave up going into business because for me it is too risky if I don't have a mentor or someone who will guide me. Besides my close circle group belongs to the 'Employee' Quadrant. That time I said, "Maybe someday, not this time."

Days past, a friend from the net invited me to join one event. He told me one group invited him to attend Cashflow and he wants to avail the 50% discount. When he mentioned, 'Cashflow' I said to myself maybe this is the sign for me to act and ofcourse I was so excited to play the real boardgame. I played, too bad I never got out of the rat race the first time. After the game, the community introduced themselves to the participants and then I saw the opportunity. When they presented the 3-Module Wealth Course, without any doubt, I signed up to attend the course. I finished the 3-Modules in one week, then a week after its like magic, I am now an
official member of the community with the cool and very successful mentors and business partners.

Its a good environment to be around with people with the same passion with you, those who are willing to fight for their dreams, and those who really supports their business partners. I am still a work in progress, I believe in this community that if I don't quit, I will succeed achieving financial freedom. I don't know about you guys but if you ask me.. I will make it happen.
